Scott Hardkiss has been opening heads & hearts and making booties shake since his early days organizing and DJing some of the first raves and electronic multi-media dance events across the country in the early 90's. He was at the forefront of kick-starting the San Francisco/West Coast sound and American electronic dance-music scene of the '90s, as well as establishing the seminal record label Hardkiss Music, releasing albums that are now underground classics and amongst the most highly-collectable today. Hardkiss has also crafted a diverse array of productions & remixes for a wide variety of artists across the musical spectrum including Elton John's "Believe," George Clinton, and the Flaming Lips' "Do you Realize?" (which was included on the Lips' Grammy-nominated Fight Test EP). In addition, his musical creativity found an outlet in contributing to scores for film, TV, and ads by directors including Spike Lee, Wes Anderson, & Richard Linklater. He found himself newly re-inspired writing, arranging and producing music and working more extensively with live musicians.
