biography

Continuing the tradition of showcasing talent from the homegrown party, Turntables on the Hudson/Giant Step Records is proud to present the first solo EP by The Pleb entitled "Don't Break" as a prequel to the full length debut of the same name.

The Pleb (aka Zeb/the Spy from Cairo) is a talented musician who programs, mixes, and plays all the music you are about to hear. Working from his Lower East Side studio in NYC, The Pleb has made an abundance of music for the Turntables on the Hudson compilations, Rhythm Love Records, IRMA Records, Codek Records & Kickin Records over the past 5 years. However, The Pleb's musical history goes way back further: from a childhood of singing and playing guitar, to the London music scene as a teenager, and to the Gold selling band called "The Indians" in the early 90's. Constantly travelling through sound, the Pleb reinvents himself and continues to make music enjoyable for all.
