For those lost in the spin cycle of the conventional DJ/Emcee rotation, the seven piece Hip-Hop collective Dujeous is about to throw a live wire into the murky waters of the hip hop status quo with their April 6, 2004 release "City Limits." Out exclusively on Third Earth Music and distributed through Caroline, the LP is the first for Dujeous after numerous singles including "Sometimes/The Rules" and "Good Green".

"Since this was our first album in ten years together the main goal was to balance all aspects of our sound, of seven complex people. Our music is focused on balancing diverse thoughts, genres, individuals and their respective voices in a way that helps forge a middle ground in the commercial/underground rap split," said Bassist Apex of Dujeous.

Dujeous, pronounced doo-gee-us, is a collaborative group that means to mark a balance in the rhyme to rhythm ratio. Rewinding through music history, selecting only the purest musical forms and applying the truest Hip-Hop aesthetic for reinvention, Dujeous understands the universal influence that every form of music possesses. The group is composed of the eclectic emcee skills of Mas D, Mojo and Rheturik, while Apex (Bass), Taylor Rivelli (guitar), Dave Guy (trumpet), and Tomek (drums) complete the scene with live instrumentation manipulation of a multi-genre fusion of reggae, rock, jazz and more.
