biography

I make a living making people feel good thru music(including myself). Won't you join the list of satisfied customers. I am truly blessed. I turned a hobby into a profession and life has been great eversense. I became a dj in august of 2002, I mark that time because that's when I bought my first and only dj set. Funny thing is I was working as a dj for 2 Brooklyn lounges for a year prior to buying my equipment. My dj father let me have a bunch of funk, jazz, soul records, and a few other styles. So one night a dj friend of mine asked if I could fill in for him at a Brooklyn lounge he worked at. I happily accepted. It was my first time getting paid to play music. I had alot of fun, the staff enjoyed my music and invited me back. I've been dj'ing ever since. Since I was getting paid for it that made me a professional but I didn't call myself a dj until I had my own equipment. It was a hobby for many years before that. I had access to my fathers records and equipment and a couple of my friends had equipment and whenever I was at their house I would spin their records and make tapes for myself. My friends would tell me I played their records better than they did. By January of 2003 I had enuff work to call it a full time job and i've been going strong ever since. I have played at about 50 venues between NY and London. I've played alongside some amazing and legendary dj's and bands, and a handfull of swanky private affairs. These day's when i'm not spinnin' i'm working on music production, riding my bike around the concrete jungle, hanging out with my lovely lady, playin' a little b-ball, shopping for music. DJOBaH.com has arrived.
