Last months event in the Garage with guest DJ Spinna was off the meter and this month we will take you even higher!!!
Residents Chris Annibell and percussionist Amon welcome Turntables On The Hudson founder and Giant Step Alumni, DJ Nickodemus + acclaimed singer Ismael Kouyate to the stage. Together, they will infuse Brooklyn's dance community with West London Broken Beats, Latin Grooves, Global House, Philly Soul, Jazz and African Polyrhythms; a night geared towards honoring the cultural landscape of Gowanus, Brooklyn and to transcend the confines of traditional clubs.
Carmina returns to the courtyard in June, celebrating the return of sun filled days and honey moon nights. Join us under the stars for Afrokinetic's premier outdoor jump-off of 2009! A celebration not to be missed!
