Giant Step's biweekly DJ series at Hudson presents perennial remixer DJ, producer & label head King Britt on Monday, October 5.

King Britt began his career in 1990 on the now legendary house label Strictly Rhythm under the E-Culture moniker, as well as Silkworm in the groundbreaking, Grammy-winning hip hop group Digable Planets. He started Ovum Recordings with Josh Wink and has produced platinum remixes for Macy Gray, Solange and Donna Lewis, among hundreds of others. Britt won the highest grant in the country as the first DJ/producer to obtain The Pew Fellowship, while declaring his own empire, FiveSixMedia.
