Giant Step presents Alex Barck (Jazzanova) with special guest DJ Alex from Tokyo (Tokyo Black Star).

Jazzanova, the club collective of 6 DJs and producers, belongs to a small worldwide group of innovators. One of the DJs from the crew, Alex Barck returns to NYC with his superb mix of soulful deep house, drum & bass, boogie, hip-hop, latin and soul! Jazzanova is one of the foremost proponents of the nu-jazz and house styles of music, gaining recognition as innovative remixers for a vast number of acts including Ian Pooley, Incognito, 4 Hero, Masters at Work.

Alex from Tokyo is one half of the production duo known as Tokyo Black Star. Along with Tokyo-based producer and engineer Isao Kumano, they have recently released their long awaited debut album Black Ships. Featuring innovative artwork by Tomokazu Matsuyama, and poetry by Rich Medina
