Giant Step proudly presents the return of the SVEDKA Vodka Sessions with a very special performance by Platinum selling Swedish artist, Robyn, with guest DJ Marques Wyatt. The event will take place at SkyBar at Mondrian, a Morgans Hotel.

Giant Step and SVEDKA Vodka continue to bring you the very best bands and emerging artists with the SVEDKA Vodka Sessions' intimate showcase series at Morgans Hotel Group luxury properties across the country. The series has already featured Wale with DJ Mark Ronson at Hudson in New York, Peter Bjorn And John with DJ Jason Bentley at SkyBar at Mondrian in West Hollywood, Diane Birch with DJ Anané Vega at Hudson, Nneka with DJ Vikter Duplaix at SkyBar at Mondrian, Kid Sister with DJ Induce Poolside at Delano in Miami Beach, and Daniel Merriweather with DJ Mateo DiFontaine at The Florida Room at Delano in Miami Beach.


After the huge success of 2007’s eponymous album, which produced the international smash single “With Every Heartbeat” & the top 10 hit “Be Mine”, Swedish songstress Robyn is back with her killer combination of natural pop nous and cool sassiness offering up an exciting mix of cool electronica, heartfelt pop songs and tracks that have all the hallmarks of becoming classic club hits.

Due to an abundance of great songs bursting to get out, 2010 will see her release not one, not two but three albums. The first, Body Talk Pt 1, was on June 14th featuring the single “Dancing On My Own”. Robyn has worked with the hottest producers around to make these ambitious plans a reality. Diplo, Royksopp, Kleerup and Klas Ahlund (amongst others) are all on board.

Marques Wyatt is a seminal pioneer of house music. In the mid ‘80s, at a time when the shape shifting of house music was rarely heard outside Chicago and New York, Marques introduced the East Coast sound to his native Los Angeles via legendary house parties like BBC, MAC's Garage and Does Your Mama Know, to name a few. In the ensuing years, his prowess as a talented DJ, promoter, and producer earned him recognition as one of the most sought-after artists in the genre, domestically and internationally. Marques’s keen sixth sense for creating epic parties culminated in his weekly house institution, Deep, now going strong in its tenth year.
