Captain Planet celebrates the release of his debut album Cookin' Gumbo (out now on Bastard Jazz Recordings) with Turntables On The Hudson and Afrokinetic. Serving up a musical feast alongside the Captain will be DJs Nickodemus, Chris Annibell and DJ DRM, with Nappy G & Amon on percussion, and a live performance by Congolese singer Fredy Massamba, who is featured on the new album single "Ningane."

Captain Planet's debut full-length album Cookin' Gumbo is the culmination of his many years constantly producing music and searching for new sounds.
