Giant Step and Vikter Duplaix announce the start of a brand new monthly party called REDIREKT. The series kicks off on October 18th at Cielo will be Vikter's first NYC appearance in over a year. The music and format will represent the freshest forms of dance music today, including dubstep, deep house and everything in between. Both Giant Step and Duplaix have been responsible for spearheading the best in new music from Europe and the US and want to create a party that showcases these sounds.

GRAMMY Nominated Singer/Producer/DJ/lifestyle event curator Vikter Duplaix is a musical alchemist weaving global culture, independent thought, fine arts and progressive music into a purely golden lifestyle. The Philadelphia native's raw DJ skills were honed on the streets of Philadelphia along with turntable legends DJs Jazzy Jeff and Cash Money. His DJ sets and vocal performances have taken him all over the United States to Europe, Asia, Africa, South America and beyond. Vikter co-starred on the BET reality DJ competition series Smirnoff's Master of the Mix and is curating several nationwide nightlife event series while hard at work on his third studio album, LOVEmachine, set for release in 2012.
