event description
Jazzanova's latest album '...Mixing' is an excellent compilation of the collective's favorite tunes from their Sonar Kollektiv catalogue. Blended to perfection in a song-oriented set, the mix includes exclusives from Extended Spirit, Attica Blues and Georg Levin, and Jazzanova's cover of Patrice Rushen's 'Let Your Heart Be Free', to name a few.

Jurgen v. Knoblauch (Sonar Kollektiv, Berlin) - Jurgen is a member of Jazzanova, a Berlin based producer collective. Their love for deep jazz and modern beats has led their music to become a stunning amalgamation of retro and new sounds that echoesalmost all musical styles from Hip Hop or Afrofunk to drum & bass, boogie, brazil, latin, and soul.

Simon S (Break Reform, UK) - As a member of Break Reform out of the UK, Simon's hip hop based soul sets have won him admiration internationally.

Ayro aka Jeremy Ellis (Ubiquity/Omoa Music/Compost) - a pioneer raising the stakes in live electronic music by bringing it real time with funk, techno, broken beat, and soul that simultaneously stuns and moves any audience.
