The world-renowned DJ Mark Farina (djmarkfarina.com, OM, All World, SF) grew up in Chicago listening to house music on the radio, constantly fed with the best of the early house classics and having the legendary Derrick Carter as a mentor. His legendary 'Mushroom Jazz' compilation series is on its 5th volume due to the sheer talent and excellent ear of Farina. Farina is a skilled and experienced DJ and he ran the successful Mushroom Jazz parties in San Francisco that have become the stuff of lore. His sound fuses the West Coast's jazzy, organic funk with the heavier, grittier urban sounds of early house and the blend is now unmistakable as Farina's trademark sound.

Plus DJ Chris Annibell aka Osiris. Resident DJ and founder of Afrokinetic, Chris Annibell aka Osiris, has been writing and producing dance music since 1997. Currently working on his solo project and a collaborative project with vocalist Wanda Felicia for the Afrokinetic label, Annibell has also produced acclaimed singles for Giant Step Records, and has been a big contributor to the Turntables on the Hudson series, with partner DJ Nickodemus. Chris’s compositions and remixes combine rhythms & melodies from around the world, with the big beats of hiphop & house music. Never easily categorized as a DJ & songwriter, his music and performances speak for themselves.
