Lily shot to the top of UK charts this summer with the release of her debut cd “Alright, Still.” The success of the album and her two #1 singles “Smile” and “LDN” wasn’t the work of a major label but the wonders of viral marketing.

Deemed the Queen of MySpace, Lily started posting her adventures online, sharing stories about her loves, losses and escapades all to catchy ska, punk and reggae infected arrangements. Her sound created from the musical diversity of her childhood has captured fans not only in UK but worldwide.

This success brought her to the attention of the major labels and Lily eventually signed to Parlophone Records in late 2005. Her debut album “Alright, Still” was rightly called “The perfect soundtrack to a London summer” by NME.
