The pioneering force behind the rise of trip-hop, MASSIVE ATTACK is among the most innovative and influential groups of all time. Their sound, at once hypnotic and soulful is a fusion of hip-hop rhythms, sensual melodies and intricate samples that set pace for much of the dance music throughout the 1990s, paving the way for such acclaimed artists including: Portishead, Sneaker Pimps, Beth Orton, and Tricky, himself a former Massive Attack collaborator.

Beginning as an offshoot of the Bristol art community called, The Wild Bunch, Massive Attack began as 3 parts of the earliest and most successful sound-system/DJ collectives in the U.K. music scene. Since 1982, their samples seamlessly integrating musical styles as diverse as punk, reggae, R&B and hip -hop, have dominated the attention of audiences worldwide. Having released their fourth album, 100th Window (2003) and a greatest hits compilation, Collected (2006) as well as two feature film soundtracks, they come to Roseland Ballroom promising three unforgettable performances!
