Direct from Berlin, Âme (Innervisions, Berlin) returns to NYC this March to spin their signature warm, electro-influenced deep house at Cielo.
Inspired by artists such as Moodymann, MAW (Masters at Work), Stevie Wonder, WestEnd Rec, Transmat, Weather Report and Herbie Hancock, Ame's sound has a remarkable style fused with delicious contradictions where the motor city marries the windy city, New York buddies up with Berlin and Paris sleeps with all, creating a sound and following reminiscent of the renowned Gilles Peterson or Jazzanova's Alex Barck. With massive international success with tracks like 2005’s “Rej” and 2006's mix compilation 'Âme… Mixing,' Âme continues to follow in the footsteps of the great musicians they love and admire.
