With a name like MYSELF, one can only expect originality and authenticity. International Alternative Rock artist MYSELF is poised for success & super stardom, having collaborated with multiple Platinum Grammy Winners including The Roots, R.Kelly, Dead Prez and Arrested Development. Originally from New Orleans, MYSELF’s musical heritage is rich in history and deeply rooted in rock, blues and jazz. His music touches on racial inequalities, poverty, relationships, politics, environmental genocide, government injustices, family, revolution, love, war, and spirituality. His style is often described as couture (tailor made to fit everyone), as he successfully incorporates rock , punk , hip hop, jazz and blues into his music. His music serves as a catalyst to create change, which alone makes him standout in an industry over- saturated with mindless entertainment. MYSELF has been featured in Billboard Magazine, Living, Blues Magazine, on MTV Jams, MTV Japan, FOX TV and he’ll also make guest cameos in Pocket Change starring Oliver Stone and Order of Redemption starring Busta Rhymes andTom Berenger. Super Producer/Music Icon Nile Rodgers (of Madonna,Sting and David Bowie) will distribute MYSELF’s latest effort Protest in Disguise on Sumthing Distribution, which was recorded and produced at the legendary Chung King Studios (original home of Rick Rubin, LL Cool J, RUN-DMC, Public Enemy.) Boasting an accomplished resume thus far, MYSELF is eager to keep the fire burnin’!
