description

Since ‘Drop the Pressure’ started blowing up dancefloors overseas, Mylo had stamped out his name as one to watch for in the world of dance music. Mylo (born Myles MacInnes) has taken the common formula for electronic dance music and thrown it out the window to show the world his unique musical vision. The result is an album, listenable from front to back (with more than just a few dancefloor smashing and party rocking tunes) that explores sounds ranging from electric to eclectic.

From the enchanting opening chords of “Valley of the Dolls” to the clever mash-up style dancefloor assault of “Doctor Pressure,” every track falls into place to take you on part of Mylo’s musical journey. Other notable tracks include the electro stylings of “In My Arms”, “Ottos Journey,” the “Muscle Car” remix and the more organic sounding “Need You Tonite”, “Emotion 98-6” and the electro-rock ballad “Soft Rock”.

Mylo really succeeded at putting together a cohesive electronic music journey from the beginning to the end. This is music that will please you at home and on the dancefloor, and it’ll kill both of them.
