As WMC approches, it makes me wonder if we could ever create a WMC-like event in NYC. Yeah, I know the beaches along this island aren't that spectacular, but why could we re-create an event here in August with a strong presence at one of the many parks (or multiple parks) as a home base. Think CMJ meets WMC. Add in Hampton Jitney-like shuttles to/from a designated beach. Just a thought.
