I will definatley look out for anything by Jose Feliciano...theres a couple of good music shops here so im bound to find something...With regards to Manchester (Buddah) Ive heard it can be abit ruff, but in a weird sort of way i think a city needs that, it keeps you on your toes. And i think tension always produces wonderful music...eventually...But likewise, if your ever planning a trip to Bristol drop me a note and il tell ya whats happening...

NINE LIVES- Sorry it's taken so long to come back at you. I've not been to Bristol but i've heard it's like Manchester good food, shops, vibe, music and clubs and some of the crews down here go up regularly . Manchester is a ruff *** town but it has it's good points the live scene and club scene are awesome and will get even more crazy when the 100.000 students return in September. If you ever get down here give me the heads up on here and i will give you the necessary knowledge. Peace
Tinkerbell,
Nice to here a Mancunian in NYC. Keep it Northern !

yeah i listen to Benji B, but not enough im afraid...i listen to Giles Peterson alot though. Ive heard a few things from Nouvelle Vague and i liked it alot. Im listening to Platinum Pied Pipers too, i like that electric soul sound they got.. What kinda stuff does Jose Feliciano do? Off the topic completley but have you still got the Manchester accent or is it a sort of hybrid now?

Yo Buddah, yeah i know Thekla...Its the Boat club...Its pretty cool in there, a good venue to see certain acts, it aint pretty, your shoes will stick to the floor, but the atmosphere there is wicked and they normally attract the more alternative names that dont mind gettin down and dirty. Whats Manchester saying at the moment? ive heard good things, quite a few friends have moved up there in the last year or so. Have you been to Bristol b4?

Erm...let me see, at the moment im discovering stuff by Bugz in the Attic..which im liking alot, ive been gettin into abit more jazz stuff, Art Blakey, Miles Davis, Oscar Peterson and alike...Im also a fan of the whole "Grime" scene over here, its what UK Garage has become over the last 4 years or so..very raw, very electronic but interesting. Also i always like to have at least one bands album on rotation...at the moment its The Bees. What about yourself? What are you feeling at the mo, and is there any good stuff crossing the Atlantic that we should know about?
