I know of someone who worked out,not a house remix of golden, but a similar style-type remix-email lildave@illvibe.net about it...but, yeah,miss jilly from philly is nice with her metaphors and is always honest and pure with her delivery...always a treat to hear new stuff from her.

Seriousally, 'Golden' is DOPE! someone please werk out a house remix of that ish! But Family Reunion' is on some other ish. that part about why the potato salad is green...so simple but so dope! I love how the story unfolds, she paints it so nicely.

I definitely dig her music and stage show. However, I did have the rare honor of taking 1/3 of her house one night in DC. She was playing DC the same night that I was playing a festival up the street. My band went on last and all of a sudden, 200+ show up to see our set, most of whom left her concert early to see me. It was pure love!!!

This album is not as good as her debut, but still a musthave

OMG I love Jill Scott so much. I mean that. I've never met her, but I simply cannot imagine not liking her. Her spirit is beautiful inside and out and she projects it to the world in her music.

I've only heard the "Golden" single so far but even if I hadn't, I would buy the album. She's one of the few artists who I buy on "GP" (general principle). I don't have to hear any samples, I KNOW it's going to be hot to def from beginning to end. Right now I'm just marking off the days on my calendar until 8/31 and hitting the record store first thing that morning!

my first time seeing the "golden" video was also the first time hearing the song.
