Agreed on the Steve Spacek tip off his band Spacek are pretty amazing too. He has a very different tone than Maxwell more left field but very inventive. Highly recommended and brlliant live too

For all those who loved embrya - which is a masterpiece in my eyes, someone who comes close to blending the soul with the unique with the electronic that embrya strove to do, listen to steve spacek. Unbelievable stuff.

am i the only person who adored "embrya"? my system might have needed a couple listens to connect to the vibe, but i'm tellin' u - i've had some darker, more internal life experiences that it very poignantly referenced ... anybody else agree?
