Hey M,
I'm just blessed that you like the music. Keep doing your thang and if can help you reach your goal with what you are trying to do, then I am the better for it. You keep on keeping on.
I'm about to work on some new music now for another album. I have a ton of music that is unreleased, just check out my juke box. My first track I'm working on is called "JOB" based on "The Book of
JOB" from thre Bible
About a person who loses everyone he loves most, and still tries to love. Kind of like keeping faith.
At least that's the theme.
Wish me luck
Smile,

KaiWen, I am listening to your music now and I do appreciate what I am hearing...for starters, I will write something for Fall to see if you are "feeling it." If so, perhaps we can collaborate. I am a lyricist and stylist. So God had to have sent you my way. I look forward to talking. My email is mikollrae@yahoo.com
Grace & Peace.

Hi Mikollrae,
I'm so happy and blessed that you took time to listen to my music. I'm tryin to do the **** thang. I don't think I'll be using Fall on anything of mine unless I put out another instrumental CD. Segurance I used on my second cd called "Red Hot Plus Tranqulity". It would be cool if you could bless the music with some lyrics. You sould check out my "Juke Box" I have a lot of unreleased music there. I just wanted to share it with the would to get some feed back and get some fans. I'm trying to write some new music, but this new music I'm writing will have lyrics. I have a REALLY hard time writing lyrics, because it seems so personnel and I try to say what I'm feeling with my music without words. You know...I guess I try to give my music feelings and a piece of my soul, especially the slower music. I'm having a tuff time getting my music played here locally, because it does not have words, so I get placed in the jazz slot at the college radio station 90.5 FAMU. I'm cool with it. I'm trying to work on the lyric writing, but all I seem to do is collect note books and carry them around in my book bag as added weight. Get at me and to let me know what you need from me. It would be cool to hear what you have in mind for the tracks.
One Love,
Kai Wen

WOW, KaiWen I've started lyrics to Fall and Segurance already. Please get up with me. I am almost certain you'll be using those two tracks for your projects...and if so, I am sure you have alot more to share. I am a male jazz singer in NYC and looking to get a bit funky or "chill".
Peace.

A lot of fav tracks on Maxwells CD's have been Tracks that Musze (Maxwell) and Stuart Matthewman (Sade)worked on together.
Can't go wrong with Maxwell, Sade, or Sweetback music.
I hope to have some great fans like you guys one day myself.
Much Love,
Kai Wen

and as for my first memory of maxwell--it was moving to nyc 9 years ago and hearing maxwell crooning "don't ever wonder" on the radio. I was in my office working a $19k a year job, severely overworked and stressed. however, hearing my man MAX on the radio--i was a bit overwhelmed--but relieved that he was one of the early contributors to the neo-soul movement. here was this guy putting it down real cool, almost like the male version of Sade..and when I finally bought the cd and later saw him at Radio City. WOW!
