Quincy is the man. He's right up there as one of my fav artists of all time with Herbie Hancock.

here's a few:
Kill Bill parts 1 +2 (I have both in my record crate and it's full of goodies)
Roots (it's quincy jones all the way - an oldie, but I grabbed my copy for $5 in a used record bin).
Lots of the blaxploitation soundtracks filled with funky car chase music too.

Ditto on the Diva soundtrack. Vladimir Cosma put it in the pocket with “Sentimental Walk – just plain gorgeous. That film’s one of my favorites.
Foxy Brown – Willie Hutch may not be as well known as Curtis Mayfield, Isaac Hayes, or Marvin Gaye, but he’s definitely up there.
Three Tough Guys – Isaac Hayes did his thing with *Shaft*, but on this one he just got dangerous. Includes “Run Fay Run, which appeared on the *Kill Bill Vol. 1* soundtrack, as well as the sample origin for Geto Boys classic “My Mind’s Playin’ Tricks On Me.
Short Eyes – based on Miguel Piñero’s play. One of Curtis Mayfield’s finest moments outside of *Superfly*. Worth it just for “Doo Doo Wop Is Strong Is Here.
And just about any soundtrack that features a musical score by Tangerine Dream. I will contend ‘til the day I die that they’re the sole reason to own the *Risky Business* soundtrack – it’s all about the music that accompanies the love scene on the train. Easily one of the most beautiful moments in Tangerine Dream’s discography.
