This is Moonstarr's first time performing in Philly, but he's already a big fan of the city. The connection was built through underground radio. Philly native Argo of BrokenBeatRadio got in touch with Moon through his incredibly popular BruckBeatRadio show in Toronto in late 2002 (www.ckln.fm) and the rest is history. Moon's a big fan of Philly's extensive musical history as well, and looks forward to collaborations with some of Sun Ra's existing Arkestra members while he visits!! He also just performed alongside ?uestlove at the RESFEST launch party in Toronto in late October.
