Yo AllyAl, an "mp3 disc" is a CD that contains (.mp3) files or data instead of the usual audio (.AAC) files. Standard artist CD's that you get from your favorite local retail chain contain the standard (.AAC) format data.

MP3's are usually MUCH smaller than your standard audio (.AAC) file. Because it's so much smaller, you can typically put like 10X's (or more)as many mp3's on a disc than standard audio files. When you burn your CD's your burning software (like Nero, Roxio, Toast, Windows Media Player, etc...) will give you the option of burning your music as audio (.AAC) or burning it as mp3 files or data.

Unlike standard audio CD's, mp3 discs can only be played on your computer, or on a radio that supports mp3 playback. That's why SoundProvider can put like 100+ tracks on a single mp3 disc. Also, the amount of tracks that you can squeeze on an mp3 disc varies, depending on the "bitrate" of the mp3 files. The higher the bitrate, the larger file AND the better the sound quality of the file. The lower the bitrate, you get a much smaller file, but the sound is MUCH worse.
