Established independent hip-hop record label seeks, college junior as Marketing and Business Development Intern to report directly to CEO. The ideal candidate is an organized, self-starter who can work independently and think both creatively and strategically.

Prefer someone with general knowledge of the music industry, with particular interest and enthusiasm for the business side.

Skill sets include: familiarity with both Mac & PC, fluency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), web savvy (with ability to make updates and postings), excellent communication (phone, email, etc), should be able to multi-task, and lastly must possess a willingness to learn, have fun, and bring their own ideas to the table.

This internship is 3 day-a-week commitment, any combination Monday-Thursday. It is unpaid (with perks for music lovers) but school credit is encouraged. Own transportation preferred, but metro savvy is ok.
