Hey. I have an artists loft in Newark which is totally accessible to NYC - like Brooklyn or Queens or Inwood. One of my tenants is Cyro Baptista's keyboard player, and a recent roommate is Tom Terrell, who the big benefit is for. I have a small room which you could use while re-establishing yourself, for $400/month. The loft is huge and everyone shares kitchen / bathroom / living space. After several years in the South and Colombia I am making the move back to NYC and could really use a break in doing this. My background is in graphic design and publishing, so work is not the issue.
