if its an HBO special most likely it was created by hbo and would only be for sale through them (hbo films) unless they got distribution for the film, which seems like they did not. it is listed on imdb.com however does not say who the production company is (spike lee directed it - maybe its forty acres and a mule) ... either way, the book is on sale at amazon.com but not the video/dvd ...

most likely not for sale or availabe - unless through the production company or some obsure place. try calling them up (i would start with hbo films), they are both in new york and at least the administrative assistance will give you the time of day ;) and they would usually know something (or know who to ask).
