Hi. We're looking for someone to help promote a Wednesday weekly in NYC's LES. The person must be musically inclined, enjoying a range of DJs and music. Your duty is to help spread the word about the event and bring out your crew on the weeks hired. You'll get paid cash per project dependant on turn-out.

Promotion will be done word of mouth, innanet, bird-calls, smoke signals, etc. (but no glow sticks). You'll be provided with e-flyers and info for each week. You don't have to stand around passing out stuff. It's simple - holler at your folks, bring em out, and it's on.

Our music range is: downtempo / hip-hop / r&b / dancehall reggae / soul / classics / house / disco / 80s / baltimore club / electro / freestyle / bass / broken beat / nu-jazz / etc., so on and so forth. All kinds of music is represented and thrown in the mix with a rotation of proper DJs and producers.

Past DJs having played with us include: P.Nice (Certified Bananas), Curtis Vodka, Dinesh (Tasty Grits), Nick Catchdubs (FADER magazine/EVR), DJ Mel (Rock The Casbah/Austin), Greg Poole (Tasty Grits/Mindless Self Indulgence), Hank Shocklee (Public Enemy), Star Eyes (Syrup Girls/XLR8R)... and will be having DJ P-Love (Kid Koala), and members of Jazzy Sport (Tokyo) playing with us in the future.

Basically, this is a new event and just really trying to get chill people up in the cut, who'll dance, hang out and have some dranks... enjoy some good music.
