Only if the swing voters will view it, if you are pro-Kerry, you have or probably will see it and if your pro-Bush, you probably won't, so that's the key, I think. I haven't seen it myself because although I love Michael Moore, it is an admittedly biased film and I'm trying to assimilate the actual facts without the spin, not an easy task, I tell 'ya! There seems to be a wariness with voters, it's difficult when you're limited to only two choices, the voting and political process needs to be overhauled to show a true representation of ALL people living in America, right now, the Democrats seem to represent liberal-minded individuals, minorities and the lower-class and the Republicans tend to encompass the wealthy and affluent, conservatives and big business types. Who's representing the middle-class? Both parties are walking the rope on trying to appeal to so many interests just to get in the White House without thinking of the viability of what they actually promise so that you can't really rely on what they say during the campaign trail to actually stand up. If you want to sllep with someone badly enough, you'll say and do anything to get to that objective, same thing with elections! The chance to become a Master of the Universe, leader of the Free World? That's some heady s*it, my friends!

haven't seen the film and being a foreigner i can't really comment on us politics but we get 60 minutes, leno and letterman over here and the bush vs kerry debate was broadcast live here so that keeps us a bit up to date on what the political trends are in the us and what's going on in american society in general. myself and everyone i know was devastated by 911! you could feel the tension in the air from people totally realising that no one is safe anymore! bush does act like a "cowboy" much of the time and kerry seems like the more intelligent alternative but the question is if he's got what it takes when the time comes for action? because when dealing with "the global war" negotiations sadly won't be enough. the american people should know that whatever european politicians might say about the us, the majority of people in europe are grateful for the us trying to defend freedom and taking action. even if the bush way might not be the right way.

yeah, i totally agree with you bethanygavin ... and though i do think kerry is a weak canidate, i have to say, i have enjoyed watching him "become" a president. i think he has gotten stronger on many issues and set out some clear differences between him and bush. and best of all, its gonna be good to have fresh young blood in the oval office!

I loved the movie.... I hope people wise up and kick bush out of office....it is amazing how someone can outright lie to the american people yet still stay in office and still be popular with many people in this country... I just wish kerry was a stronger canadate, I think people are just going to vote for him because they do not like bush....I hope that is enough for a win, because I would rather have almost anyone but bush in office

I still haven't seen the movie, but I can feel it out there like spirit over the water so patience this too shall pass. What I've wanted to say, to justonekid or anyone is that we are stuck in clockwork waiting for events to shake us rather than to shake ourselves. I know each of us meet people everyday who give us stories about vital disturbances they are creating. I want to share this fragment from a new verbal riff I wrote for performance;
These days an all-about-yourselfness is characteristic and religious, oil and beer miz in the camelbaks, DVDs in the humvee and a blind eye to a giant leap back taking place as we speak so flies bullets and sand and the dumber don't come than an American man, celly up to his ear, camera ready to roll, fully engaged but totally numb to the effort it takes for new focus to rise out of the mess that they made spun off like a storm from the mouths over here and into the minds drunk on oil and beer all ready to kill fed apocalypse now and no one stopped them to say not here and not now and no you never should be unless humble unarmed with an offer of peace, so back the fu&k down because the bad breeds the ill and that weed on the hill is the sickest i've seen since i've breathed in the air down here.

granted we all feel and think alot of the things represented in michael moore's perspective of outrage. I liked the website that said we should do things to take our power back all the time not just when we vote. I think all the time about communist russia because i feel like a split happens that silences one half of the people while empowers the other and I can't be sure if it is just the way the zeitgeist travels parting and unifying like a spiritual jacobs ladder. Somebody touch back..em

I saw the film this past weekend and it moved me to tears early on. Brooklyn born and having lived in New York most of my life and during 2001 and seeing (or rather not seeing) those events on the big screen woke up some feelings that I haven't felt in a few years. Further into the film I giggled, shook my head in agreement and even had my pulse raised a lil' bit. However, I didn't learn anything that I didn't already know about George Bush and his cohorts. Point being, he sucked in the 90's and he sucks now. It didn't take Michael Moore making a heavily slanted film to prove that to me. Will it wake up my fellow Americans to get active? That remains to be seen. Does Kerry suck too? I'm sure he does. But at this point (I'm sorry Ralph, I love you and all) I'd rather take a sucker who's just rich than a sucker who's rich off of his families oil empire. Oil = involvement in the Middle East. And that's the problem in simple 2nd grade terms. All of you who watch NASCAR, drive Hummers and use gas lawn mowers vs. push mowers are just as responsible as George Bush for the mess we're in. You can't blame the woes of the world on one person...even Hitler & Stalin didn't act in isolation. They were enabled to get away with atrocities by their own people / governments. Renewable energy, REAL political action (as simple as writing letters, e-mailing and calling your representatives, running for local office or doing something constructive in your own community) and weening off of our governement sponsored information sources will put us all in a better place. Vote...sure, but that's only 1% of what being an American is all about. Have a safe and Happy 4th of July.

Oh great...Kerry..I can think of limited flyer, poster,graohl, non-prophet engagement that might energetically be possible for single mom-me...to fight this Kerry option with active self-involvement. I want you all to know that i was in the military as a psYops soldier...I was trained Arabic with Special Ops..so I am just watching all this go down with curiosity because I left the military under auspices avoiding time in bosnia because I studied Plato and Aristotle and Locke and I cannot reconcile the cause of this country with why i wake up to live...ask me any question and i have worn the uniform and worn the robe of liberal arts so take that all into consideration....
I am not afraid of an admimistration.. but i am still unsure that our people want to work for their rights to demonstration..see you at the next big thing...em

The only way that Kerry is really any better than Bush is the fact that he hasn't proven himself a complete moron and hasn't taken the country to **** in a handbasket. He'll likely win the election though on the merit that he is not George W. Bush, which in many people's books is something quite substantial.

I saw the film for the simple fact that the very conservative town in which my parents live in Virginia refuses to screen it. If they want to see it now, they'll have to drive over 50 miles to see it.

I'm not fan of Michael Moore, I think his obnoxious personality often conflicts with the good, and valid points he raised through his work. However, that aside, I am glad I saw the move, although I can't say I enjoyed seeing it. I left the theater incredibly depressed because so many people in this country have been duped by our president and his gang of theives. Greed and hubris is what drives this administration and they don't care who suffers as long as they're making money.

**** Cheney's outburst to Tom Lahey last friday only proves how callous and arrogant these people are. I mean how much more money do any of these people need? And how many more of us are going to suffer because of them.

The strengths of this film for me, were the connect the dots game that Moore plays out in the beginning, but the most touching parts were the second half where he focuses on the affects of the war, abroad for the Iraqi people and here for the soldiers and their families.

I will vote this year, although I don't like Kerry as a candidate, he is no better than Bush in terms of his background and comfortable life, and like another poster said, I pray that Edwards will be his VP, because he got my primary vote. I only hope that the people who are posting here and spouting off about Bush will back up that talk with a vote against him come November.

I haven't seen Farenheit 9/11 yet but I will. I read Dude,where's My Country from start to finish amazed that I never saw anything correlating the Bush family with the Bin Laden's in the "popular media" Of course the story would have wholly undermined the president's cause for war, but wasn't it an easily accessible news piece? How wasn't it covered? I hope the movie touches on my questions. It was great to see john stewart the other night at a friends house. I don't have a TV connection anymore so i rarely get to enjoy the daily show, but he had a funny segment on an interview done with Michael Moore and a plastic-faced, uninteresting host who was trampled by Mr. Moore's basic indictment of the media when she tried to spin a political election time move around hisb movie.
