I'm former cellolist and a true lover of classical string instrument violin, cello, harp, bass, ...etc. Can anyone reccommmend phat, unconventional and untraditional use of stringed instuments in contempary music? I know there are a couple of hot Bjork tracks where she incorporates a variety of string instruments creating rich, emotional, moving tapestries. Can anyone reccommend anymore that I can add to my new catalog . PHAT STRING JOINTS....?
ps Especially cross genre... hip hop, jazz, house, world, reggea, spoken word, rare grooves.
ie not in a classical format. Thank you ....for your help.
