O.K., I know that we hear the words “amazing”, “talented” and “mind blowing” bandied about all the time when it comes to musicians these days, but I urge all of you to check out the performance that Raul Midon gave on Letterman last night. I just peeped the link myself and dude is bananas! I haven’t seen a crowd on a program like that react mid-song like that and when he jumped into that trumpet solo via his own two lips...I was just floored. I didn't remember that kind of fire when I listened to his album, but you better believe I'm digging it back out now.

Did anyone catch Raul's breathtaking performance on David Letterman the other day? I have to say he was D-O-P-E

Raul Midon will perform songs from 'State of Mind' on tonight's (June 28th) David Letterman Show. 'Late Show with David Letterman' airs on CBS-TV at 11:35PM EST-12:35AM EST

AND tomorrow (Wed, June 29th) he'll be on NPR for an intimate interview and performance. National Public Radio airs locally in the New York City area on WNYC Radio (93.9FM) from 6AM to 9AM EST.
