I'm enamored with Nouvelle Vague's cover of 'Heart of Glass.' So good! I love the way they were able to put a fresh twist on the song but still leave it recognizable. Not many artists can do that with a cover. Another artist that I think is really good at going covers is Madeleine Peyroux. She was also on the Eclectic Cafe with Nouvelle Vague if anyone heard that. Madeleine covers older stuff Leonard Cohen and Joni Mitchell. Actually she covers Joni Mitchell's 'River' on her new cd. It's called 'Half the Perfect World' and comes out next week.
