thanks brotha ... lots of good folks working for good folks ... always makes good stuff. it amazes me on a daily basis on how much the folks at gntstp care about good music and its creation and delivery! so this website seems like a logical birth of that love .........

alas, we looked into it and found the problem. it is fixed and the ordering of forums should be correct.
ONE BIG CHANGE!!!
Notice that we changed the ordering so that the latest post is first in the list ... making it easier to follow a thread. Nubees just need to read backwards ... so if you are new to a thread, start on the last page ...

How does the page indexing work currently? because some of the threads have ppages sorted in a random order (like the 'what song are you listening to') - which makes it crazy difficult to navigate through).

Mr. K - thanks for the head's up ... we is lookin into it. seems like its breaking because the forum is too long. we have to accomidate for that. if anyone sees this happening on another page, let us know.
melaninrockstar ... what page is that happening to you on?

I just posted again to "What song are you listening to right now" and sure enough my posting turns up on page 9 out of 22 total pages. New postings should turn up on page 1 don't you think?

I'm still trying to figure out how the posts are organized. I thought they were in chronological order starting with the oldest on page 1, then the newest on the last page. But I came to a forum where they seemed to mixed up (date-wise). For example, on the first page, there was a post from Aug. 24, then on page 3 or 4 there was a post from August 30, but on the last page there was a post from July 1.
So the forum was set up like this:
Page 1 - Aug. 24
Page 2 - Aug. 30
Page 3 - July 1
So I'm am officially confused on how the navigation works...can someone break it down for me?

Some posting lists don't seem to be working right. The "What song are you listening to right now" list now has around 22 pages of postings. New postings should turn up on page one, am I right? I posted again today because I couldn't find my last posting but now I found them in pages 8 and 9 out of the 22. What's up with that? =)

yo freshkat, we shall look into it ... though i do know it will take a bit of work. some forum advocates might say that it is wrong to change a forum post (for archival and accuracy purposes). If you said something wrong, or wrote something incorrect, then its better to just post again. Forums are suppose to be as close to a conversation as possible, and just like a conversation, you can't take things back that you've already said. now, as for spell check ... maybe we can add that! i know i need it ...
