Kim Hill is the original voice of The Black Eyed Peas (the band immediately fell in love with her voice when they met her in 1995), Hill co-wrote several songs on their groundbreaking album, Behind the Front. Kim Hill honed her skills by sharing the stage with the likes of Outkast, Slum Village, De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest and became known as the Peas' stand out vocalist until she pursued her solo career.

Her new work features collaborations with Common on the single Right Now and Her forthcoming CD Pharoah's Daughter featuring production by nu-jazz trailblazers Bugz In The Attic & 4hero.


About Ron Trent

Probably the only Chicago house producer to rate one of the best techno singles of all time, Ron Trent recorded his classic acid workout "Altered States" in 1990 but gradually moved away from mechanistic trance-state dance to embrace a deep house sound with plenty of African percussion.

Some of Trent's latest works, including African Blues (Distance) and the mix the vibe: Urban Afro Blues compilation CD (Nite Grooves/King Street), that propel dancers on a journey through harder, organically deep rhythms by positioning traditional African drumming as a central beat foundation without focusing on a particular genre.

Seared Ahi Butter Lettuce Salad with soy-ginger vinaigrette

Served with ginger scented steamed rice Balinese Chicken Curry with coconut milk paired with stir fried snake beans
