I am a big Mizell Bros fan and can't wait to hear the record. I love their smooth production, it isn't everyone's taste-back in the day when they were producing a lot of Blue Note artists like Donals Byrd andBobbi Humphrey purists were up in arms. To me their sound is still timeless.

Blue Note has done a **** of a job refurbishing itself over the past decade. I can remember as far back as the New Groove remix project in '96 (The Ummah remix of "Down Here On The Ground" featuring Dianne Reaves was so superb!). The DJ Smash Phonography albums also forged the movement; but the ultimate had to be Madlib's Shades Of Blue. And now the Mizell Brothers? ****, it just don't get no better! I'm a HUGE fan of their production work. Although, it's hard as **** to dig up a copy of the Sky High album they put out back in the day. At any rate, big up to Eli Wolf for pumping new life into the catalog.
