i thought her performance was amazing too. Her style is a mix of a Brazilian genre known as "forro" with an urben feel, so anything that is forro might be to your liking. Also look out for Forro parties in NYC at SOB's, nublu and Joe's Pub ... it's a lot of fun ... her EP CD is supposed to drop at the end of the year - fingers crossed!

i saw her perform live at the canal room last week and thought it was incredible. i know that her album is not out yet (and may not be anything like her live performance). can anyone out there recommend names of other band with a similar feel?
