a year and a half ago, the elevations radio show launched through the airwave at whcr 90.3fm, broadcasting in the twilight hours from harlem with a mission to bring a different sound to the nyc airwaves...an underground sound called "broken beats." brett from boundless (bfb) and myself began diggin' in our crates, and searchin' for the freshest un-released "broken" cuts from around the globe...your basic not-for-profit radio djs doing it strictly for the love.
tonite, the torch is passed on from brett from boundless to probe dms (spy music), who will debut as the new co-host for elevations while brett travels deep into musical production, vinyl hunting expeditions, and joins clandestine liberation movements throughout the 7 continents and beyond! always an innovator and foremost purveyor of neo soul, future soul, nu jazz, d'n'b, broken beats, and much more---brett's contributions have truly been invaluable and his presence on the mic, turntables, and radio controls will never be forgotten. we wish him much success for many light years to come. just remember to keep your eyes + ears open for bfb sightings everywhere...
