Ehh.. There are definitely worse album covers. I'm just saying i like the new one from Ropeadope a lot better than that jean jacket art from Kindred. The jean jacket looks like some hippy 'ish or something. Just my opinion. The album's dope as ****, which is really all that counts.

JJ is bangin, right there. def one of the best hiphop 0f 2005, so vote for the guy at the WW awards.
As far as the album cover goes, is think it is DOPE man. Kindred Spirits is known for it's ill artwork. almost a trademark. love the cover then times better then a straighforward hiphop cover; like guy in the car, ladies next to him etc. bunch of bs ya know. think those covers are wack and this one is a killer

Yo, I'm tellin' all my cats, if they're gonna buy ANY album this year, make sure that it's "Three Piece Puzzle"---definitely one of THE BEST projects out right now...

Yep..Ray Knowledge and his friends in Europe were fortunate enough to get a head start on us when Kindred Spirits released THREE PIECE PUZZLE early this year. I picked it up via import, and it's definitely one of the best, most refreshing, original hip hop albums in years. Lucky for us Americans though... the new release stateside on Ropeadope Records has much doper album artwork. I'm not feeling the denim jacket Jneiro's sportin on the Kindred version at all.

Benji B's been banging some of the cuts on his 1xtra show for a good minute too (and I haven't tuned in in a while).

Bought it seven months ago (yes i'm from Europe, were it is releasedin the beginnning of 2005).
Since that moment it has never left my cd-player.
It will end up (easily) in the top three of my album of 2005 list.

Ray

Jneiro Jarel – ‘Three Piece Puzzle’ (Ropeadope)
'Three Piece Puzzle’ is hip-hop from the future. Leftfield percussion, alongside jazzy melodies, broken-beat rhythms and Jarel’s vocals combine for a blend of beats and soul comparable only to Madlib and George Clinton. This is great jazzy hip-hop with a raw edge flow for loungin’, spliffin’ and dancing.
Tunes like “Do Yo Thang” and “Get Yuh Own” are already blowing up and mostly instrumental journeys like “Sun Walkers” (ft. Mel Owens) and “Soul Starr” are destined for success in the world of downtempo beats. The real strength of this album is its diversity and Jarel pulls it off very nicely. Many different pieces come together to make ‘Three Piece Puzzle’ a definite treat for any fans of good music.
Now all the rest of the world has to catch up.
