Anyone out in Detroit for the Super Bowl this weekend? Goapele was supposed to be playing some Jam Session event tonight with Slum Village and Dwele.

i get this spring/summer feeling from it. it would have been dope to release it during one of those seasons.

yes, i picked it up last friday. i really dig it. i've listened to it straight through about 3 times, but keep on going back to #6, 'different'. something about the beat of that song and her voice. i also like 'first love' from when i heard it on here. and the duet with dwele, i think it is called 'you'. she did a dope job with this album. nice follow up to closer definitely. her voice is so unique.

so yeah, i'm feelin' it!

Have you heard the whole album? I just got it today and am feelin those tracks. Especially track 7. that one is supper fresh. I just like how each track sounds so different then all the others.
