I have to say that I was a bit skeptical of this one when I heard about it last week, but I downloaded it today when it went live on www.gnotorious.com just for the **** of it and it's not all that bad. While I wish some people would let B.I.G. rest in peace, you've got to hand it to the Sound Advice crew for keeping homeboy's classic rhymes fresh over Danger Mouse's Gnarls Barkley instrumental beds. Although the MP3 sound quality isn't quite up to snuff, the spirit is there...you can almost hear Biggie's signature chuckle from above. I wonder what's next though. Tupac's rhymes over the Gorillaz' 'Demon Days'?!?!?
