Just saw Corinne last night @ her SOLD OUT show here in NYC. This girl is the truth! She's not "just like a star" ---- she IS a star!!! Lyrically, vocally, musically -- she's got the star in her!

She's a little soft for my taste, but I'm feelin her. She has a soft but soulful feel....

Hello to everyone on this forum. I heard Corinne Bailey Rae early last year on a UK music show and was so impressed with her mesmerising sound and look. I saw her live in October and she was excellent but she seemed to be lacking in material but the clamour was so much that she released an album over here in January. It is mixed - when it is good it is very very good and when its bad its dull. She is obviously very talented but needs some quality control and better production. I love "like a star" and "put your records on"...her sound is unlike anyone that ive ever heard.I find myself watching Bet Jazz for hours just to catch either if these singles.I dont think ive been this excited about a new artist in awhile!

For music is different, not the same tired sound, and its softer then a lot of what's out there.

I say she's an alternative from all the barely clothed female singers that are out now.

There is so much hype surrounding this chick. Is she the real thing?
