'went to the Blue Note Festival last saturday in Trabendo-Paris to check on Gilles that I did not see mixing live for a long time. I told my friends, I told my sister, I told everyone. We could not wait for Saturday to arrive, could not wait for Gilles to show up.

After an hour of waiting, an hour of St-Germain-look-a-like Marc Moulin guy, Gilles did not show up.

Rainer Truby was next. He was good, but he was not Gilles.

Then, Peter Kruder appeared. He was good, but he was not Gilles.

After a good set of Kruder, taxi - next stop - home.

I don't know who's fault it is (Blue Note organisation, Gilles himself or ?) and I don't really care. It's just a shame that until the very last minute (his name was on posters in the Trabendo), we thought we'll had a great time listening excellent music, but nobody told us it would NOT happen.
