Well I had the pleasure of attending Gilles Peterson present.....as the last night of London Jazz Festival at Barbican last night. The show featured performances by Robert Glasper Trio, Jazmyne Sullivan, Esta, and Heritage Orchestra.

The setting in the Barbican is more Lincoln Center than club, but the night was extremely enjoyable. It didn't have the energy of the recent Canal Room show in NY-but I am not sure if that venue could have fitted Heritage Orchestra which has to be well over 40 people.

Highlights for me Esta (UK singer who sat at the piano and sang from the heart). Dwight Trible with Heritage Orchestra-blowing the roof of the place.
