It was also my first time seeing Incognito LIVE, never to be missed again!! I hadn't realized the magnitude of this talented and diverse band. I'm hooked!! Bluey set the crowd str8, calling on the crowd with an imaginery line,he demonstrated how people individuals can be so easily oppossed...he then concluded with a Harmonious UNION between Side A & Side B: Us, the Audience, Humanitarins of the World!!!! ONE LOVE!!!! All in the name of Sweet Music! The ensemble, "united nations of music", were full of energy and presence. A definite way to start a Friday Night!!!

YES!!!! NYCogs what a show! I was at the gig in Baltimore, the night before, but NY really wore me out. The croud was so alive. It was like a club with the deejay spinnin nuthin but Incognito. Bluey's music touched a lot of us that night. Richard Bailey's solo on drums was hot. Maysa voice, even under the cold, still shine. I loved it when she broke the band down during Deep Waters, and started to scat. She reminded us that she is the Queen of JFS (jazz/funk/scat) Imani and Tony Momrelle took us back with soulful R&B. Gayle Evans added her sexy harmonies. It was nice to see Kellie Sae on stage. I heard a lot of people in the audience wondering where was Karen Bernod? If Karen was there, I would have had a heart attack. OMG the croud scattin to Everyday, that was tight.

Incognito killed it! Maysa & Bluey.. killed it! The entire ensemble.. killed it!! Such an incredible 2-hour set for the funky-soul lovin' folks!!

Bluey ended the show, preaching about "One Love"-- having the crowd sing and dance their way out of Irving to B. Marley & C. Mayfield's masterpiece.

That was my first peep at them live, but I'm definitely there the next time they're in town!!
