Just under one thousand revelers celebrated CMJ Music Marathon’s opening night with the NZ@CMJ Showcase presented by 42BELOW Vodka. A long line formed outside of SoHo’s Red Bull Space to catch up-and-coming New Zealand rock bands Die! Die! Die!, Surf City, Motocade, Kingston and Bang Bang Eche, along with hip hop acts David Dallas, Kidz In Space and Smashproof. The NZ@CMJ Showcase was organized through the collaborative efforts of New Zealand music promotion agencies NZ On Air and the NZ Music Commission and New York's Giant Step.
Bringing his signature “Hump in the Homefries” brand of uptempo house sound, the legendary Tony Humphries takes over Hudson on Monday November 2. Don't forget to RSVP.
