Four Tet DJ Mix and Remixes by Joy Orbison and Roska

    January 7th, 2010

2490Four Tet aka Kieran Hebden is set to release his fifth studio album, There Is Love In You, his first full-length in almost five years. It features the epic nine minute journey “Love Cry,” a loopy track that evolves and unravels around a simple vocal sample and thumping drumbeat. Now remixes have emerged from the acclaimed talent coming from South East London: Joy Orbison rolls out a floating electronic piece with skippy percussion, while Roska’s remix is all at once dark, brooding, fierce and funky.

Four Tet will be touring in support of his much-anticipated new album, out January 26th on 2xLP, CD and digital.

Salvador Santana, the 26-year-old keyboardist, vocalist, composer, and songwriter makes a splash with his single “Keyboard City” and the accompanying remixes on the Keyboard City Remix EP. Cut with Beastie Boys collaborator Money Mark, the original track layers reedy, synth atmospherics, icy-cool electronic keys and a smooth-as-butter beat underneath Sal’s awesomely zonked-out vocoder-heavy vocals.
