GPWW this week features a mix from the innovative young producer Mike Slott, as well as music by Ruckspin, Ghost Poet, Aloe Blacc, Gary Bartz Ptu Troop, Kyle Hall, Eliphino, and plenty more freshness.
As well as a producer, Mike Slott is a true nomad who has lived in Chicago, Glasgow, Dublin and recently, Harlem, NYC. Over the last few years Mike has cemented his reputation at the forefront of futurist hip hop production with a style that is hard to pin down, encompassing a myriad of influences from free jazz to 80s boogie via golden age hip hop.
