    Mark Ronson Remixes

    September 24th, 2010

By now, you've surely heard Mark Ronson & the Business INTL's lead-in single "Bang Bang Bang".  It's become a smash hit everywhere, from Japan to Australia, France to Finland.  This disco number featuring Q-Tip and MNDR vamps up the French nursery rhyme "Alouette," creating a NYC hip-hop sing-along with a twist of je ne sais quoi.  The new batch of remixes for "Bang Bang Bang" features Russ Chimes, SBTRKT, and Count & Sinden.

Another must-hear remix is Major Lazer's transformation of the originally breezy "Bike Song" from cutesy to sexy.  Major Lazer focuses on Spank Rock's verse for the song's total makeover into a club bumpin' techno beat.

M.I.A. and Rye Rye On Tour (Enter to Win Tix)

    September 23rd, 2010

Earlier this week, newcomer and Baltimore rap dynamo Rye Rye started a fall tour with M.I.A..  The 19-year old with the rapid-fire flow is the first artist to be signed to M.I.A.'s label N.E.E.T. Records.

After hearing Rye Rye rap on DJ BlaqStarr's 2006 club hit "Shake it to the Ground", M.I.A. collaborated with her to make her first single, "Bang".  Rye Rye's music is a blend of old school Baltimore rap and danceable techno beats, all showcased on her upcoming album, Go! Pop! Bang!, set to be released in early 2011.  The album also features Diplo, Blaqstarr, Count and Sinden among others.

Along with the bold and inventive M.I.A., the duo will create an energetic, not-to-miss tour.

M.I.A.'s /\/\/\Y/\ is available on iTunes now.

We also have one pair of tickets to their concert in NYC that are up for grabs!  Check dates and win tickets to the NYC show (this Monday at Terminal 5) after the jump:
