Shifting effortlessly between sample-based and completely original work, the Parisian hip-hop producer decided to take a break from live instrumentation on this project. France-based producer, M83 (Anthony Gonzalez), recently released a video teaser to promote his double album due this October. Starting off with a stripped down recording setup, the scene crescendos into a grandiose landscape of atmospheric visuals. Given this video, it’s not surprising that Gonzalez explains his forthcoming project as “very, very, very epic” and “mainly about dreams.” According to Pitchfork, the album will feature collaborations with Zola Jesus and Brad Laner.
